URGENT REQUEST

Catherine Nielissen is trying to piece together her family history.  She would like to hire a historian to research her father who was a Canadian who came to NZ in the late 1950/early 1960s. She would also like to find out about her mother, who was a NZer.

My father was a resident of NZ from 1952-55, then moved to Canada. Later, sometime in the late 1950's or early 1960's returned to NZ, where he had a daughter (myself), then returned to Canada with me in 1962.

Expressions of interest are sought from historians interested in researching and writing a history of Massey University, to be published in 2014 to coincide with the University's first 50 years as a university. It is envisaged that this would be a full-time salaried position for approximately two years. Massey would provide an office at one of its three campuses (Albany, Manawatu or Wellington), travel and research expenses and the successful applicant would work with an advisory committee consisting of senior staff and former staff with broad knowledge of the university.
