Expressions of Interest

The recent earthquakes in Canterbury present a number of challenges for Christchurch in managing its cultural heritage. Support may be required for this work and expressions of interest are called for from heritage professionals.

Heritage work within Christchurch City Council includes supporting consent processes, managing heritage documentation and undertaking research, providing information and advice to council staff, statutory agencies and the community, and preparation of plans and policies for heritage conservation.

Heritage professionals with relevant tertiary qualifications and experience would support this work and make a genuine difference to the people, communities and the environment of our beautiful city.

Working in the Council means you will be working in an environment with plenty of challenges, variety, job satisfaction and exceptional opportunities for learning and development. Everyone working at our Council is making a difference to our region and helping shape and build a sustainable environment for future generations.

Register your interest by clicking on the 'Apply Now' button.  If you have not previously registered on our site you will be prompted to do this before you can submit your details.
