About Me

I'm a PhD candidate at Deakin University in Melbourne, where I'm investigating the term 'cultural landscape', and what this means in Australia and New Zealand when it comes to heritage management.

I attended Otago University from 2002-2005, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in History. In addition to history, I studied archaeology and art history. In 2008 I completed postgraduate study in Museum and Heritage Studies at Victoria University.

At the start of 2008 I worked for Opus International Consultants as a heritage consultant for 6 months, before moving to DOC to be the historic ranger for Poneke Area Office until March 2011.

I like painting, baking and rowing surf boats.
